Tip of the Week: Save Tabs to Read Later On

Google Chrome is a great web browser that comes with many built-in services and features, one of which is the ability to save tabs for future reading. Today, we want to explore how you can do this to save pages to read later, even if you don’t have time to do it now.

How to Save Chrome Tabs for Later

Most Chrome users can add new tabs quite easily, but even the average user will find that they can open far too many at a given time. They might do this because they want to read something later, hence the need for a feature that allows them to save open tabs for later viewing. Google has made it easier than ever to do this, and we’ve outlined the process below in Windows, with the latest version of Google Chrome.

To get started, right-click on the tab that you want to save. From here, select the option to Add tab to new group. You must also toggle on the Save group option and name your tab. Your tab will be saved to your bookmarks bar. If you want to save your tab for later, you can right-click on the tab again and select Hide tab. This saves the tab to the front of your bookmarks bar, making it easier to return to it for later viewing.

If you want to remove a saved tab, the process is simple. Just right-click and use the option Remove from group.
